Our Health, Safety and Environmental Management System (HSE MS) is a set of principles, policies, processes and requirements guided by our HSE Policy Statement.

As a set of principles and requirements, the HSE Management System is used to manage evolving HSE issues across our operations, while improving the standard of our HSE performance to satisfy both our clients and regulatory agencies.

Our HSE MS Objectives are as follows:

  • To inculcate HSE Leadership, Commitment and Accountability through structured Roles and Responsibilities for Petrotrin’s Management
  • To comply with all applicable legislation with a focus to identify HSE Risks and develop HSE Programs for mitigation
  • To train all employees to foster improved HSE Performance
  • To evaluate HSE Performance and Legislative Compliance through a robust HSE Audit Program
  • To communicate all HSE matters to Internal and External Stakeholders
We have also developed fifteen (15) HSE MS Elements based on the following international and industry standards:

  • ISO 14001: 2004- Environmental Management Systems - Requirements with guidance for use
  • OHSAS 18001- Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series
  • OSHA CFR 1910.119 - Process Safety Management of highly hazardous chemicals
  • ISO 55001: 2014 - Asset Management - Management System Requirements
