Mr. Sookdeo
Heeralal
graduated
from the
University
of the West
Indies with
a B.Sc.
Special
Honors in
Geology and
went on to
pursue an
MBA at the
Edinburgh
Business
School.
He joined
the Company
as a
geologist in
1980 and
acquired
significant
experience
in the field
of
exploration
and
production.
Before
serving as
General
Manager,
Joint
Ventures,
Mr. Heeralal
held several
key
positions
within the
organization
which
included
Division
Geologist,
Team Leader
-
Exploitation,
Team Leader
- Asset
Monetization
and Manager,
Oil and Gas
Commercialization.
Mr. Heeralal
is a member
of the
Geological
Society of
Trinidad and
Tobago (GSTT),
American
Association
of Petroleum
Geologists (AAPG)
and the
Association
of
International
Petroleum
Negotiators
(AIPN).
As head of
the Joint
Ventures
Division,
Mr. Heeralal
is
responsible
for all the
Company’s
upstream
Joint
Ventures
including
the
administration
of our Lease
Operatorship
and Farm Out
programs.
His focus
would be on
Opportunity
Recognition,
Asset
Assessment,
Asset
Acquisition
and
Divesture,
JV Contract
Management
and Partner
Relationships.
