Mr. Ramyad is a
graduate petroleum engineer
registered with the Board of
Engineering of Trinidad and Tobago
with approximately thirty-seven (37)
years' service in the petroleum
industry.
He joined Petrotrin
predecessor company Texaco Trinidad
Inc as a petroleum engineer in 1969
and later held various posts within
the organization acquiring
significant exposure and experience
in the field of exploration and
production. Mr. Ramyad also held
senior posts at Trinmar, Trintoc and
Trintomar.
As head of the Joint
Venture Division, Mr. Ramyad is
responsible for all the Company’s
upstream Joint Ventures.
A founding member of
the Trinidad and Tobago Chapter of
Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPETT),
Mr. Ramyad was awarded by the SPETT
in 1997 the distinguished Engineer
of the Year Award.
Mr. Ramyad is also a
Director of the National Gas Company
of Trinidad and Tobago. |
