Keith London
Manager Procurement

Appointed January 01, 2004

 

With a background in engineering, process plant operation and Supply Chain Management, with majors in Industrial Engineering and Production Management and with proven competence in Business Process Improvement / Re-engineering, Quality Management Manager Procurement Mr. Keith London is aptly described as a multi-disciplinary professional with a strong strategic functionality and visionary outlook. 

Mr. London joined the organization as a learner Refinery Operator in 1979. With a keen mind and strong sense of enthusiasm, London was quickly able to adapt to changes within the organization and to grow. Over the years he held progressive positions within the organization, which included Junior Refinery Operator, Materials Analyst, Senior Materials Analyst, Materials Specialist- Logistics, Performance Improvement Coordinator and Materials Manager. 

A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Mr. London holds a BSc Degree in Industrial Engineering and an MSc in Production Engineering and Management.  In addition, as a Supply Chain Management professional (CIPS Professional Certification) he holds functional experience in ALL the major disciplines of Materials Management and has actively participated in the development and implementation of an Enterprise-Wide Materials Management Systems (ref. EWIS-SAP-MM).   

His achievements extend further, as Mr. London is also an educator associated with RBTT Roytec in the disciplines of Management Science and Operations Management. He also tutored and coordinated courses for student bodies across the Caribbean at UWIDEC in the disciplines of Production Operations Management and Production Planning and Control.  

Mr. London is the recipient of three Petrotrin Awards for Excellence, for a Procurement Re-Design Initiative, SAP-MM implementation and Development of a Strategic Framework for Relationships with Suppliers and Contractor. 

He is currently a member of a Cabinet appointed E-Auction Task Force, charged with promoting the implementation of E-Auction in State Sector companies. 

An avid sports administrator, he holds the post of Vice Chairman of Petrotrin Sports Club and is also a member of the executive of the United Petrotrin Football Club. 

As Petrotrin’s Manager Procurement, Mr. London is responsible for cost effectively managing the acquisition of all goods and services.
