ISO 14001:2004 Certification for all of E&P |

During
a recent audit conducted at Petrotrin by Lloyd’s Register Quality
Assurance (LRQA), our North-Western District was recommended for ISO
14001:2004 Certification, and all other areas previously certified (Trinmar,
South-Central and East Coast Operations) have been recommended to retain
ISO 14001:2004 Certification. Resulting from this successful scope
expansion, the entire Exploration and Production Division-Petrotrin is
now certified, thus making it largest area in the Caribbean to have a
certified Environmental Management System (EMS) that conforms to the ISO
14001:2004 International Standard. |

All
employees within E&P must be commended for their support and cooperation
during this initiative.
During the period 2007 August 13-30, Mr. Ron Muldoon, a Lead Assessor
from LRQA audited various departments and sections within E&P. Members
of staff from HSE Trinmar and HSE Penal involved with the Environmental
Management Systems provided audit support and facilitated document
review during this exercise. A bi-annual surveillance audit was
conducted for all departments/ sections of Trinmar, East Coast
Operations and the Central District of LNE. In addition, a certification
audit was conducted for all departments/ sections with the North-
Western District LNE. |
