cross-fertilisation
of petroleum
cultures has
contributed
to
PETROTRIN's
innovativeness,
flexibility
and high
rate of
success in
its
petroleum
engineering
techniques
and
approaches
in the
complex,
fractured
Trinidad and
Tobago oil
provinces
and
reservoir
conditions
world
renowned as
the
"geologists'
graveyard".
Our cadre of
geologists,
paleontologists,
petroleum
engineers,
tool pushers
and drillers
are among
the world's
best.
PETROTRIN's
roots in E&P
on land can
be traced to
the first
Trinidad
oilwell
drilled 1857
south of the
island at
Aripero.
Today, the
Exploration
and
Production
(E&P)
function is
the upstream
business of
Petrotrin
and
comprises
three (3)
Divisions as
