either through a
public tender
process
(advertisement in
newspapers) or a
selective tender
process (invitation
issued only and
directly to
registered
contractors).
Registered
Contractors are
companies that
satisfy Petrotrin’s
ELIGIBILITY
requirement and have
been successfully
reviewed in
accordance with its
PRE-QUALIFICATION
CRITERIA to provide
contracting services
in specific WORK
CLASSIFICATIONS and
FINANCIAL RANGES:

SUCCESSFUL
CONTRACTOR
A successful
Contractor must
fully satisfy the
Statutory/Corporate
requirements and
attain no less than
50% respectively of
the Technical and
Financial
pre-qualification
criteria, to qualify
for registration,
and must attend
Briefing on
Petrotrin’s Safety,
Security and
Contracting
Procedures also,
execute standard
Agreement covering
Petrotrin’s ‘General
Conditions of
Contract’, prior to
placement on the
Register of
Contractors.
As part of the
evaluation process,
interviews and/or
random site visits
are carried out to
verify information
submitted by
applicants.
